Meet international students and graduates from Vietnam studying education at Massey University.
The Master of TESOL Leadership from Massey University equipped me with the theoretical and practical knowledge required to facilitate modern communicative English language teaching in the Vietnam tertiary sector.
The degree developed my understanding of different teaching methodologies and the intricacies of the second-language-learning process. These skills are vital for my professorial roles in teaching and research.
The two years I spent at Massey were incredibly valuable and the most memorable time of my life. I treasured the excellent teaching staff, the supportive team of international student assistance, and the multicultural campus atmosphere.
The classes were small and enjoyable, filled with Kiwis, international fellows and diverse teachers. Everyone had experience teaching overseas, particularly in Asia, which enriched the learning environment.
Massey University also has a great community of international students. I often went on fun trips or attended BBQ parties with other students from the Chaplaincy and the International Postgraduate Student club. Throughout my studies I felt a great sense of belonging at Massey, I made a lot of good friends, and never felt as though I was away from home.
