Mary Malloch Scholarship

The Mary Malloch Scholarship (value $3,000) is open to Massey University students who wish to enrol in the Masters of Specialist Teaching Programme in 2019. Applications close 6 December 2018.

To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, applicants must:

  • Have attained a GPA average of B+ or above in the Postgraduate Diploma of Specialist Teaching Programme
  • Be currently employed in a professional position in the field of education

 Applicants will be assessed against the following criteria:

  • Are not accessing/do not have access to other awards or scholarships
  • Can demonstrate their potential to influence positive change for students who experience barriers to their presence, participation and learning in school.
  • Will complete the Masters in Specialist Teaching Programme within the year of being awarded the scholarship.
  • GPA average the Postgraduate Diploma of Specialist Teaching Programme

Pathway Scholarships

These scholarships are available on a competitive basis. Students are required to have a GPA of B+ or above. Full and part time students are eligible to apply. Download and complete the application form and email to the address provided on the form. Applications close 12 December 2018.

Graduate Research Fund

The Massey University Institute of Education Graduate Research Fund (GRF) is set up to provide financial support to postgraduate student research and support students’ with the development of important researcher skills related to funding applications, budgeting, communication and presentation.
