We coordinate fully-customised study tours, delegations, immersion courses, professional development, university preparation and other visits to meet the specific learning needs of individuals and groups. Our priority is to work with you to achieve your group’s specific learning goals.

Part-time or full-time courses are available and special projects, activities and field trips can be incorporated into the course to suit the needs of the group.

Massey is unique in New Zealand, as it has three campuses – in Auckland, Palmerston North and Wellington. Our study tours can be delivered at any site or at a combination of all three, providing the opportunity to experience different aspects of New Zealand geography and culture.

Tailored to your needs

Programme Coordinators will work with you to develop a tailored programme that can encompass any of the following:

  • Integrated English language study with other international students studying from introductory to advanced level English (Classes may be fully integrated or semi integrated into the English Language timetable)
  • Tailored English language classes (Classes may start at any time and are taught using a topic based approach standing alone from the timetable)
  • Professional development designed to achieve your training goals
  • Guest lectures from Massey academic staff on your discipline area
  • Applied learning through field trips and cultural visits
  • External speakers in your field of interest
  • Engagement with students on campus through sport or other activities.

Five-star rating

Massey University has five-star ratings for its research, teaching, innovation, infrastructure and internationalisation from the educational benchmarking agency Quacquarelli Symonds (known as QS Stars).

The University received maximum scores for academic reputation and for the number of internally recognised academics on staff in the research criteria.

In the teaching criteria Massey received maximum scores for student satisfaction with teaching and overall student satisfaction.
