IELTS is the world's most popular high stakes English language test. It is the test that opens doors to a world of academic and professional opportunity in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, USA and many other places around the world where English is a language in the workplace or the classroom. IELTS testing at Massey University is managed by IDP: IELTS Australia.
Both IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training cover all four language skills, Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.
The IELTS intensive preparation course at Massey University is designed to help you achieve the score you need to succeed in your immigration application, professional registration or university entrance.
The courses are suitable for both Academic and General Candidates and cover all four parts of the IELTS test:

Richard has been teaching English in both Japan and New Zealand for nearly 30 years and has taught a wide variety of students during this time. Richard is a certified IELTS tutor for Massey University in Auckland. Outside of work Richard enjoys cooking, travelling and riding his classic Japanese motorcycles. Richard says the most rewarding part of his job is often witnessing the great progress made by students not only in the four skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening, but also the huge increase in confidence and communicative ability that comes with this.
Marianne has many years of experience teaching students in Europe and New Zealand. She currently teaches ESOL at Massey University to International student groups and is a certified tutor for IELTS.
