School of English and Media Studies

Bronwyn Lloyd joined the School of English & Media Studies (Albany Campus) in 2010 as a part-time tutor. In 2012 she was appointed Lead tutor for the paper, Introduction to Academic Writing (230.100), subsequently renamed Tu Kupu: Writing and Inquiry (230.111). She has also tutored for various other writing papers within the school including Creative Writing (139.123), Travel Writing (139.326), Writing Creative Non-Fiction (139.280), and Life Writing (139.226).

In addition to tutoring at Massey University Bronwyn works as a freelance art writer. She has published numerous articles and essays on modern and contemporary New Zealand art, craft and design since 1999. She also writes fiction, having published a collection of short stories, The Second Location in 2011 (Titus Books) and her short stories have appeared in various literary journals including Landfall and Brief. She runs a bijou publishing company called Pania Press, specialising in limited edition poetry chapbooks, short stories and essays.
