This symposium will feature invited speakers and panelists on a range of questions and areas of philosophy, including:
The symposium aims to:
Build a community of diverse philosophers within the region – both by 1) acknowledging (the existence of, and further need for) philosophical diversity, and by 2) creating space for dissemination of and engagement with diverse voices and perspectives.
Begin to construct a platform upon which rich and diverse perspectives might one day co-exist and converse as equal partners within the region.
Begin to discuss how future regional diversity in philosophy events can be supported.
