Welcome from the Head of the School of Psychology

Haere Mai. Welcome to the Massey University School of Psychology - Te Kura Hinengaro Tangata website.

Psychology is a growing and ever-changing discipline studying a wide variety of human experiences. At its simplest level it is the systematic study of the behaviour of individuals. More broadly it helps us make sense of human impact on the world in which we live: Political turmoil, conflict, corruption, drug abuse, crime, sexual abuse and poverty, for example.

Our School is diverse with a variety of undergraduate and graduate programmes taught by academic staff engaging in diverse research activities across our three campuses in Auckland, Palmerston North and Wellington. The many pages on this Website provide extensive information on all of these activities, and on the School staff. Whether you wish to find out about a programme of study on a particular campus or at a distance, or about staff research projects and publications, you should be able to locate the information here. If you then want more information, please contact one of the people listed. I hope that you will enjoy browsing in our Website.
