Clinical Psychology Services / Psychology Clinics

The School of Psychology at Massey University has an applied psychology centre attached to each of its campuses.

• Auckland - Centre for Psychology, Albany
• Palmerston North - Turitea Psychology Clinic
• Wellington - Psychology Clinic, Wellington Campus

Purpose of the centres

The centres aim to create a bridge between the academic and applied areas of psychology by:

• offering 'state of the art' psychological services direct to the public;
• conducting research to develop and evaluate different types of applied psychology;
• enabling postgraduate students to be trained in applied psychology.

All three centres specialise in clinical psychology services, research and training and various contracted services. The Centre for Psychology in Albany also works in the areas of Health Psychology and Industrial/Organisational Psychology.
