Dr Ella Kahu

School of Psychology

My primary teaching responsibity is as distance coordiantor of the new core BA paper, Tūrangawaewae: Belonging and Identity. My  wider research interests are in social psychology and education with a preference for qualitative methodologies. My PhD project was on the engagement of mature aged distance students in the transition to university and my current project is in collaboration with the Univeristy of the Sunshine Coast in Australia where I am again researching the student experience.
