Conferences and Events
Programmes within the School of People, Environment and Planning are, from time to time, involved in the organisation or hosting of conferences and events. These can be international, national and regional in nature.
Conferences
Sociological Association of Aotearoa New Zealand's 2009 conference will be held at Massey University's Manawatu Campus 22-24 November 2009. The theme of the conference is 'Crunch Times - Can science make a difference?'.

2008 Running Hot Conference
The Running Hot Conference held in Wellington during October 29th - 31st 2008 was well attended by several academics from across the disciplines within the School of People, Environment and Planning. The conference theme was 'Interconnections: NZ Science in the 21st Century'.
The conference is reviewed by Bete Flager and features a special interview with our Head of School Dr. Henry Barnard.
