School of People, Environment and Planning
Undergraduate Programmes of Study
The School of People, Environment and Planning is involved in the teaching of three undergraduate degrees - the BA, the BRP and the BSc - and, in addition, you can take papers from the School as electives in other undergraduate degrees, such as the BBS. In the BA we offer five majors (Environmental Studies, Geography, Politics, Social Anthropology and Sociology) and also teach Development Studies and Women’s Studies. In the BSc we offer one major - Geography. We manage the whole of the BREP. You can choose to study internally or by distance learning towards a range of undergraduate qualifications:

- Bachelor of Science (BSc)
- Joint Arts/Science (BA/BSc)
BA requirements
Please Note: Students commencing their Bachelor of Arts degree in 2009 or transferring to the 2009 BA regulations are required to complete 135 credits for their major subject (except Business Psychology, which requires 195 credits). All other students must complete 150 credits for their major subject (Business Psychology requires 210).
