Use of InspiroScan Form

If required to answer all or part of your examination on a InspiroScan form, please ensure in advance that you are fully familiar with the following instructions.

  • Use blue or black ballpoint pen (pencil is not permitted).
  • Do not damage or write on the Registration Marks (the ‘T’ shapes at the corners of the form).
  • Do not damage or write on the Timing Marks (the black rectangles going down each side of the form).
  • Do not hole-punch, fold, staple or deface the form in any way.
  • The form must not be attached to the script book or other document: The forms will be collected separately.

Use the 10 minutes reading time to complete the student and course details as follows:

FIRST NAME, SURNAME, COURSE TITLE, COURSE NUMBER and DATE

  • Write your Student ID Number in the boxes provided.
  • In the grid directly below your student ID number, fill-in the bubbles that correspond with each number of your student ID
  • Keep marks inside the bubble.
  • Test Form box: always mark ‘A’ unless indicated otherwise.

When the supervisor announces that you may commence writing your answers:

  • Completely fill-in the bubble for the appropriate letter, eg:  InspiroScan letters
  • Do not use a tick, vertical line, a dot or a cross to mark your answer.
  • To change your answer, cross through the original answer bubble clearly with an X, before selecting an alternative bubble:  Inspiroscan crossed example
