Course enrolment

Great you have been accepted into Massey, now you need to select your courses for 2018. The Academic Advice team talks you through the process on how to select your courses for your programme of study.

Frequently asked questions

  1. Is a Certificate of Proficiency (CoP) a specialisation?
    No, a Certificate of Proficiency is a programme - but not one that you can graduate with. It's a programme which allows students to enrol in up to 30 credits of courses.

    A specialisation is a major (e.g. in a Bachelor of Business in Finance, Finance is the specialisation is this subject is the main focus). A major or specialisation may also be referred to as an endorsement.

  2. How can I enrol for a CoP in the enrolment process?
    1. Go to the Student Portal screen on the Massey University webpage


      Log in to the portal as set out in the example below
    2. Click on Qualifications and Courses


    3. Click Apply for New Qualification


      You can then search for the CoP (PaCE), CoP (Undergraduate) or CoP (Postgraduate) by using the search filters. Then complete the application form as set out in example below:



      You will need to select the course(s) you want to enrol in during the application. Once you have found it, select when you want to start studying your course(s) then click next. Then continue through the enrolment process.
  3. How long does it normally take to assess the enrolment of postgraduate courses for international students?
    Normally up to 10 working days, however processing times can vary, particularly during our peak enrolment time (mid-January - mid-March).
