Academic Advice webinars

The Academic Advice hub is a series of free web-based seminars (or 'webinars') for prospective and current Massey students seeking assistance in selecting and planning programmes and courses. They are offered throughout the year to help students make informed decisions, and help them them enrol in the programme of study where they are most likely to succeed. There are also webinars available for students currently engaged in their studies who need advice about making changes to their academic pathway.

The programme is provided through Adobe Connect software by the Academic Advice Hub. There will be webinars to assist both prospective and current students including:

  • Enrolment
  • Selected entry programmes
  • Course selection
  • Majors and minors
  • Cross credits
  • Informal credit advice
  • Applying to graduate

You can participate in the workshops from home, work, in the car - wherever is convenient for you. All you need is an appropriate device whether it is laptop, iPad, Surface or smartphone.

Each webinar will be approximately 30 minutes long. It will include a presentation followed by question and answer time. You can ask questions using a text-based chat box, and questions will be answered at the end of the webinar. After the webinar, a list of FAQs from the webinar will be made available to all participants.

Participation is open to all Massey University students, both internal and distance.
