Rural Valuation I

An introduction to valuation, examining the duties of a valuer, code of ethics and report writing as well as the principles and methods of valuation and the application of these to the valuation of residential and rural property. The course has a practical orientation containing a substantial fieldwork and case studies component.

  • 2 Analyse the locality and economic factors that influence rural property markets.
  • 3 Apply analytical rural valuation approaches and explain the underlying concepts and principles.
  • 4 Demonstrate an understanding of sections of legislation and case law relevant to the valuation profession and explain their importance to rural valuation.
