  • 1 Demonstrating skills in the collection of psychologically-relevant information through the use of clinical interview techniques.
  • 2 Demonstrating selection of clinical assessment methods that are developmentally-, contextually-, and culturally-appropriate, utilising a variety of different approaches to assessment for psychological and behavioural disorders across the lifespan.
  • 3 Demonstrating capacity to critically evaluate psychometric tests in selecting assessment instruments, and be able to discuss the empirical basis for the measures selected.
  • 4 Demonstrating skills in the use of neuropsychological assessment procedures, including the selection, administration and interpretation of common assessment instruments, and demonstrating knowledge of how these contribute to an integrated assessment of neuropsychological functioning.
  • 5 Demonstrating skills in formulating psychological problems of clients, incorporating relevant contextual and psychological information.
  • 6 Demonstrating the use of appropriate methods for communicating clinical assessment findings.
