This course explores language forms used in marae procedure, and language associated with tangihanga, whakatauki, pepeha, korero purakau, waiata tawhito. In addition the prophecies and aspirations of Te Kooti Arikirangi Te Turuki are explored. There is also an examination of the oral narrative and written literature associated with poroporoaki.
