222.391 Visual Communication Design Special Topic B (15 credits)

The course focuses on one specific aspect of visual communication design. Offerings change from year to year or may not be offered in a particular year.

In this strategy and practice course we will use social marketing strategy and design thinking to address current real world problems such as Diabetes. We will team up Business School Marketing and School of Design students in the application of co-creative practices exploring social change to create new ideas, attitudes and practices across societal and cultural boundaries. There is one assignment with two parts, comprising of a social marketing plan and creative solutions using a broad spectrum of media. What you will learn in this course will accelerate your learning relevant to other courses and programmes as well as a key foundation for industry employment.
