International or domestic students intending to study full-time and continue onto the Master of Education (TESOL Leadership), subject to achieving a minimum of a B grade average and meeting the specified criteria for entry, are able to commence their study in February (Semester One) and complete the Master of Education (TESOL Leadership) programme in 1.5 years.

International or domestic students intending to study full-time and to complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (TESOL Leadership) programme as a standalone qualification may commence the programme in February (Semester One) or July (Semester Two) and complete the programme in 1 year.

Domestic students intending to study part-time are able to commence their study in February (Semester One) or July (Semester Two).

Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages Leadership) structure

This endorsement will carry the award of Distinction or Merit if completed at a satisfactory standard within one year of first enrolling in full-time study or within three years of first enrolling in part-time study. A 120 credit postgraduate diploma must be completed within a maximum of four years.

If you successfully complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (TESOL Leadership) you may apply for entry into the Master of Education (TESOL Leadership), providing you have at least a B grade average and meet the specified criteria for entry to the Masters programme.

Up to 30 credits may be selected from the Elective Schedule for the PGDipEd or any of the other endorsement schedules (including TESOL Leadership).
