What is it like?

Why enrol in the Direct Entry English Pathway (DEEP)?

If you do not meet the English language or literacy requirements for admission to Massey University, you should consider enrolling in the Direct Entry English Pathway (DEEP).

Successful completion of this 16-week programme will give you the Foundation Certificate in Academic English and direct entry into undergraduate study.

If you have not met the academic requirements for admission, you can pathway from DEEP into either the Certificate in Foundation Studies or the Certificate in University Preparation.

DEEP provides you with the academic English and study skills necessary for success in your undergraduate study at Massey University. Successful completion of the qualification means that you do not need to sit an external English test at the end of the course.

You must have a conditional offer for your next programme of study for entry to DEEP.

A good fit if you:

  • Have a relevant university entrance qualification but do not meet the English language or literacy admission requirements for degree study
