The Master of Education (Special Education) is an advanced level professional degree for teachers working in the field of inclusive and special education within the school and wider education sector. The degree will provide you with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to support teachers and students to succeed In an inclusive education system.

Please note that the Master of Education does not qualify you to be a teacher in New Zealand. If you want to be a teacher, you will also need to take a postgraduate teaching qualification. Please explore your options in our education pathways tool.
