People to see
There are over 5,000 Māori graduates of Massey University and there are almost 3,000 Māori currently studying with us. Their contributions to our communities and to our social and economic advancement are considerable, and we are humbled by their achievements.
On every Massey campus, there are staff who have a specific responsibility to promote Māori student advancement. These include academic directors, managers, student advisors, librarians counsellors and marae managers,
This year, we have launched the new Te Rau Whakaara programme, which is a student-centred approach by which Māori students will be encouraged to realise their study and career aspirations, and prepare themselves for leadership roles. So if you are interested in areas such as leadership training, connecting with industry, work experience, internships, career planning, academic planning, research experience and scholarships, please email maoriadvisor@massey.ac.nz or contact the Māori Student Advisor on your campus.
