Manawatū campus

The Manawatū campus is located in Palmerston North and is one of the best places in the country to experience the real student lifestyle. With a huge portion of the population under 25 it is the perfect place for learning and living.

Palmerston North is a vibrant city, with a reasonable cost of living. If sport is your thing, you can choose from some of the best mountain bike tracks in the country, while further afield you will find skiing, rafting, horse riding, tramping, kayaking, surfing, bungee-jumping within easy driving distance. In the city there are plenty of cafes and pubs, live theatre, live music and an energetic arts and entertainment scene.

The Manawatū campus has two locations:

  • Turitea, set among huge trees and beautiful gardens
  • Hokowhitu, on the city side of the Manawatu River, with modern buildings near the lagoon.

Palmerston North is an easy city to get around by foot or bicycle. Students also have the option to travel to and from the University, and around town, on a free bus service.
