How Do I Make Requests?
There are many ways to request material from us. Below is a list of the simplest and quickest methods for requesting a particular kind of item. Alternatively, we can take your requests via email or phone.
Books
Request books online using the Library Catalogue. More information and help.
Journal Articles
- Check that the Library holds the journal you want by searching the catalogue using a Journals search.
- If so, check that we hold the volume and issue containing your article.
- If we hold the article in print, request it using the Journal Article Request Form.
If the article is online you can print it out, save it to disk, or email it to yourself.
If the Library does not hold your article, you can request a copy using the Interlibrary Loan Journal Article Request Form. Please note that there is a charge for interlibrary loan requests and that prepayment is required.
Requested journal articles will be delivered to you via email.
Part-of-Book/Chapter
Request a photocopy of a chapter or contents pages using the Distance Learning Part-of-Book Request Form.
Please note: The Library must comply with the Copyright Act which restricts the amount that can be copied to a "reasonable proportion".
