All faults that occur to buildings, grounds, services and infrastructure are to be reported to the FM Helpdesk ext 82288, except for IT, which is reported direct to ITS.

Minor improvements to buildings and facilities, such as a shelf required or a pinboard fitted, please request through FM Helpdesk ext 82288, except for IT, which is reported direct.
The University Minor Capital Works fund is administered by FM and an annual programme is compiled late November for the following year.
Building alterations for Minor Capital Works expenditure should be coordinated via the College or Institute building representative. Where there is a change of use of an area, the University Space Committee will need to confirm the change of use is within University guidelines.
On recommendation from the College and/or Institute, FM will provide design, tendering and contract management for the project, subject to funding being available.

Where an Institute or Section purchases equipment that requires building or services alterations, please contact the FM Helpdesk for assistance. The users must provide for any such alterations within the equipment budget.
