Virtual Private Network (VPN) requires a broadband connection, and allows you to connect to Massey remotely. Your computer at home will operate as if it was at work. Please check the Remote Services List matrix below to know which service will give you access to your required system.
Once you have connected to VPN, you can access your network home drive. Remote desktop allows you to connect to another computer. You can connect to your computer at work, and control it remotely (eg. from home), with everything showing on your screen, just like you are sitting in front of your office computer. This can be useful if you want to run applications from home that are only installed on your work computer.
