600MB of data per day, allocated to your email address and to the devices that you use. Your data allocation can be used on several devices, and on up to three devices simultaneously. Once you have used a device to sign in to the guest wireless service, that device will be "locked down" to your credentials for that day.
As many as you'd like, but you can only be signed in on three devices simultaneously. If you want to sign in on a fourth device, you will need to disconnect one of your other devices and wait 30 minutes before connecting with the new device.
The 600MB of data per day is allocated to both your email address and the devices you're using. You won't be able to connect to the guest wireless service on that device with another email address on that day.
No, this is a wireless service for visitors to the University and gives basic internet access only.
Staff should use MUStaff or MUStaffPrivateEquipment, and students should use MUStudents. Staff and students will be able to access the internet and Massey network on these wireless networks.
This guest wireless network is an unencrypted, open, public network, meaning that data transmitted on this network is not protected by security encryption, and is at higher risk of being viewed by other people. Staff and students should continue to use the MUStaff, MUPrivateEquipment and MUStudents networks, as they are secured with encryption, and offer a greater range of access to Massey services.
