Massey University offers video conferencing services for a variety of purposes including meetings, teaching, research, examinations and interviews.
Online meetings are a great way to meet anyone, anywhere. Staff can create online meetings with Lync/Skype for Business, or if they have an account, with Zoom.
Book a Video Conference room
Video Conference rooms provide a physical space for some attendees to meet in person, while joining Online Meetings or room-to-room Video Conferences.
Want to set up a new Video Conference room for Online Meetings?
For guidance on setting up a low cost, desktop based Video Conference room that can be used for Online Meetings - view our handy guide (.pdf)
The University also provides teaching-specific video conferencing facilities and software.
Use VLT rooms to deliver classes on two or more campuses, or to deliver mixed mode (internal, distance) courses.
Use Adobe Connect, one of Stream’s core electronic tools, to create a virtual classroom.
The Adobe Connect service is fully supported by the Centres for Teaching and Learning, and not by ITS.
