Massey University is committed to recruiting and retaining quality staff. Induction is the first step in building a mutually beneficial relationship between the University and a member of our team and therefore plays a key role in providing our new team members with the knowledge and resources they need to be able to competently perform their jobs and to feel connected into the organisation.
The materials in this section are designed to assist the manager and new team member to work through an effective and efficient induction programme, which introduces the individual to all aspects of their role within the University.
Managers and their support staff commonly require a range of IT systems to support their day to day tasks. Below are links to lists that provides information on how to arrange access for different roles, how long this normally takes, and what training and support is available:
While this information has been collated with these groups in mind, the web information for Line managers, EA’s and PA’s may also be useful to all staff, depending on their role.
