In the same way we want the experience of "joining" Massey to be a positive one, we want the "leaving" experience to be one that is marked with respect and appropriate acknowledgement. For many staff this important transition will occur after a long career with the University. For others, it will follow a briefer but hopefully fulfilling part of their career journey. Our goal is that as our people leave the University, this process is one which is supportive, well administered and leaves ex-Massey staff with enduring regard for the University.
Voluntary termination of employment with notice.
Your voluntary termination of employment with notice when you are permanently withdrawing from the regular paid workforce. This section contains a number of resources and also transition options that are available to staff who are nearing the end of their career.
It is recommended that the departure checklist is used, to support departing staff and their managers in managing the administrative actions needed when staff cease their employment with the University.
As a departing staff member you will be eligible to register as Alumni and participate in the areas that are of interest.
