The National Centre for Teaching and Learning was established on the 1st October 2010. The new National Centre provides an umbrella for three campus-based Teaching and Learning Centres, and replaces the Centre for Academic Development and eLearning (CADeL).
The National Centre will help to coordinate staff development activities, support research on the scholarship of teaching and learning, lead and manage Stream and educational technology-related initiatives, and develop and implement policies and strategies for teaching, learning and distance education to meet the goals of the Road to 2025 Strategy and to enable the University to meet its obligations and objectives under its Investment Plan.
