2017 New Zealand Women in Leadership Scholarships for Māori and Pasifika Women

The NZ Univerities Women in Leadership Programme provides for a scholarship for Māori and Pasifika women for the 2017 programme.

In respect of the Māori and Pasifika Women in Leadership scholarships, all Māori and Pasifika women in the University are invited to consider an application for the 2017 programme.

Dates for 2017:

Dates for the first 2017 programme:       Monday, 19 June – Friday 23 June 2017 (target audience, academic staff women)

Dates for the second 2017 programme:  Monday, 21 August – Friday 25 August 2017 (target audience, professional staff women)

2017 Programme Themes:        

  • Monday - Setting the Leadership Context - 'Strategic Leadership in Academia'
  • Tuesday - Leadership Development and Career Advancement
  • Wednesday - Managing Change - 'Transformation, Communication, Negotiation and Strategic Intervention'
  • Thursday - Research Leadership (Academic Staff Women's Prog only)
  • Thursday - Communication and Building Resilience (Professional Staff Women's Prog only)
  • Friday - Leadership in Action - 'Preparing for and Exercising Leadership'

Programmes are residential and held at the Bolton Hotel in downtown Wellington.

To apply please complete the application form below and also either the academic or professional staff application (as above) form for the NZ Women in Leadership Programme.

Completed applications, including your manager's written endorsement, are to be submitted to Coralie Weller at c.weller@massey.ac.nz by end of business on 10 March 2017.
