This form is to be completed by the staff member's manager.
If the Public Holiday would otherwise be a working day for your staff member, they will receive a lieu day which will appear in the Yourself portal.
Ordinary time has already been paid for through the normal fortnightly salary payment. The additional top up payment is paid at half time (T 0.5), for the actual number of hours worked on the Public Holiday.
If the hours worked on the Public Holiday were not a normal working day for the staff member, they will receive time and half for these hours worked but not an alternative day in lieu.
The Holidays Act 2003 provides for payment of the following Public Holidays:
Payment for a Public Holiday and an entitlement to an alternative holiday is requested by the staff member's line manager
