University duties leave

In 2015 SLT endorsed the devolvement of the functions of the Leave and Ancillary Appointments Committee to PVC’s/AVC’s. 

This has resulted in the Leave Regulations being replaced by a new guideline document and a condensed application form for staff to use in applying for these types of leave. 

While this does not change the entitlements to staff, the impact of the revision is the simplification of the Leave Regulations that previously covered Short Leave, Long Leave, Business Leave, Service Leave (for duties overseas), and Research Leave in New Zealand.
