Campus Development Plans - Generic Guidelines (staff only)
The purpose of this policy is to provide a clear framework for the naming of buildings, facilities and spaces either on all Massey University Campuses or any buildings/facilities associated with the Massey University brand.
This policy has been developed to ensure that standard procedures are followed by all requesting individuals or organisations of memorials, consistently across all campuses. This policy may also be referred to for guidance on other memorials and monuments that may be placed on campus to recognise events of significance to the campus community.
To ensure that all notices, banners and other material displayed on campus does not contravene the requirements of the University’s Statutes, Regulations and Charter or Legislation.
These guidelines are to be used to guide design and planning for University space allocation and utilisation within campus development projects (refurbishment and new construction) and provide the University’s expectations on the type, configuration and utilisation standards for spaces the University provides for staff and students.
The purpose of this policy is to govern the resource management process associated with the scheduling of Massey University’s academic offerings and ad hoc room bookings.
