An introduction to using interactive scenario/case-based lessons in STREAM

Description

This will be an interactive workshop that provides a broad introduction to any staff that are interested to see how incorporating interactive scenarios into lessons can assist with teaching and learning.  The course will also introduce staff to SBLi as a mode of delivery for this type of paradigm. 

 Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the presentation, participants will:

  • Know what is meant by a scenario-based lesson
  • Have an overview of the appearance and features of the SBLi software
  • Understand how a variety of scenario-based lesson types can be scaffolded within Stream
  • Have learned some tips and techniques on designing an SBLi lesson
  • Know how to get support in designing and delivering their own SBLi lessons

None

 Target audience:

Any Massey staff (academic or non-academic) involved in teaching

 Time:

Two hours.
