The Educational Technology Unit is dedicated to supporting staff in designing and developing creative and innovative educational technology solutions to enhance teaching and learning endeavours. We are a national shared service committed to providing timely, effective support. A key function of the Unit is to maintain the Stream environment and support staff to make effective use of educational technology for teaching and learning purposes. The Unit also has a role in supporting current initiatives promoting the more effective use of digital study resources.
In addition to overseeing the Stream environment, the Unit offers specialist services such as multimedia design and creation of digital learning objects that can extend and enhance the teaching and learning experience. We are committed to working with academic staff and teaching consultants in the campus Centres for Teaching and Learning to develop innovative solutions that promote the goal of an exceptional and distinctive learning experience for all students.
