Graduate Destination Survey

The Graduate Destination Survey (GDS) is administered in August every year to all those graduate who had degree’s conferred in the previous academic year. The survey population includes all those who graduated with from Graduate Diploma’s or higher qualifications. The survey is administered on-line survey and asks about:

  • method of seeking employment,
  • employment status,
  • location, industry group,
  • job title,
  • motivation for study,
  • salary,
  • further study and
  • transition into employment.

 An overall analysis of the data is provided as an annual University-wide report. Other adhoc analysis is available by many of the SMS demographic variables. Standardised employment outcome dashboards which are available on request are a primary deliverable of this survey process from programme leaders.
