This web site provides information on copyright and its implications for you as a user of copyright material for educational purposes at Massey University.
It does not provide a complete picture of all copyright issues.
In the main it covers issues for staff relating to multiple copying of copyright material for educational purposes. The Copyright Act (1994) provisions are outlined as are the permitted allowances under the various licenses Massey University subscribes to.
Students may find this site useful when considering using copyright material for assignment and research purposes.
Copyright is infringed unless you comply with the Copyright Act 1994, a terms of licence, or are granted permission by a rights' holder.
