Residential Life

Staying at The Cube is a great way to meet other students and settle into life at Massey University within a safe and supportive environment.

Living at The Cube provides:

  • A diverse community of students
  • A great way to meet friends and find future flatmates
  • Support as you get used to life away from home
  • Help and assistance from knowledgeable staff
  • Events and activities organised by residential staff
  • Only a short walk to class, the library, student services and the Massey gym

Events and Activities

A host of exciting events and activities are organised by residential staff and Residential Assistants at The Cube throughout the year. One of the best ways to meet other students and make friends is attending these events, so we encourage you to get as involved as much as possible.

All residents pay an Activity Fee of $100 which is used to enhance your stay at The Cube. All events and activities endeavour to be inclusive of all residents and often include a meal. Events are advertised with flyers, notices and posts on Facebook.

Events we run include:

  • Movie nights
  • Assassins tournaments
  • Eating competitions
  • Secret Admirer
  • Anzac Day marches
  • Floor-wide roast dinners
  • Group paintball sessions
  • Health focus week

And much, much, more...
