Academic Board Meeting
The Academic Board Meetings provide an opportunity for students to graduate without attending a graduation ceremony. Students are sent their scroll in the post after the meeting date.

Please note that if you graduate through an Academic Board Meeting you will be unable to attend a Graduation Ceremony for this qualification at a later date.
Clearance to graduate
You will need to have clearance to graduate two weeks prior to the meeting date.
If you are waiting for your thesis or your practical report to be marked and have missed the clearance date to graduate our office will defer your application to the next available meeting.
If you have not met the requirements to graduate then your application will be withdrawn. You will need to apply at a later date to graduate.
A letter will be sent to you from our office if you have been deferred or withdrawn from a meeting.
Council Meeting for Bachelor of Veterinary students
There is an option available for Bachelor of Veterinary students to graduate in a special Council Meeting held in December each year.

Delivery of your Scroll
Scrolls are posted out to the address indicated on your application form. There is an option of having your scroll delivered to an alternative address, please indicate this clearly on your application.
All scrolls sent within New Zealand are couriered. Apart from Rural Delivery addresses which are sent parcel post tracked.
If you live overseas or want to have your scroll sent to an overseas address you will need to pay a DHL courier fee for this. For more details and to make payment see Having your scroll sent overseas.
