Graduate in Wellington
The graduation ceremony is the greatest celebration of the University year and follows the ancient procedure which has been established by many universities throughout the world.
If you are eligible to graduate as a result of the previous semester's examinations you must apply to graduate. It is your responsibility to make sure you complete your application before the closing dates as late applications will not be accepted.
If you are waiting for results from Summer School (Semester 3) or you are a Postgraduate student who has submitted a thesis, you may not receive your results before the closing date for applications. You will still need to apply before the closing date even if your results have not arrived.
Graduation packs will be mailed out at the start of May of which the
handbook (2,170 KB)
forms part of the mailout.
