The Sport & Recreation Centre caters for the needs of clubs, offering them set training times in most indoor facilities and on the fields. However, all facilities are available for casual use if you prefer to do your own thing, with plenty of opportunity for bookings during the week. To be sure you don't miss out, book at reception.

Training roomIncludes machine weights, a free weights area (Olympic weights, barbells, dumbbells), cardio equipment (cycles, steppers, rowers, x-trainers and treadmills), Swiss balls and a stretching area. |

Climbing wallJust head for the mezzanine floor (overlooking the gym). The wall has been built in conjunction with Massey Alpine and Sport Climbing Clubs in Palmerston North. Please enquire at reception for annual and casual pass prices. |

Sports hallThe Sports Hall is the main area of the Sport & Recreation Centre. It is used for a number of different activities which include group exercises and sports such as badminton, indoor netball and soccer, basketball, handball and volleyball. |

Squash courtsThe Sport & Recreation Centre also has three squash courts, all are glass backed. You can watch your friends play through the glass or from the upstairs viewing area. Racquets and balls can be hired from reception. |

Spin room (RPM)We have 18 bikes, booking in advance is recommended. RPM© is an indoor cycling programme for developing cardiovascular capacity. Burning up to 800 calories in one 45-minute session, RPM© is a favourite of those wanting to reduce body fat. |

Boxing roomIncludes boxing gear and a stretch area. |
