Ricky is a member of the Auckland Inter-Faith Council, the Chair of the Aotearoa New Zealand Tertiary Chaplains Association (ANZTCA), is on the Executive of the Association of Christian Spiritual Directions in New Zealand (ACSD), and he is a Justice of the Peace (JP).

Ricky has a great desire to see students develop in their understanding of their own faith and to bring a greater spiritual awareness to the campus.
