We offer a range of innovative and helpful workshops throughout the Semester which will assist all students to manage the challenges of university and academic life more effectively.
Mindfulness for Academic Success
Interested in improving your academic performance? This programme, consisting of 5 weekly sessions, uses the latest mindfulness techniques to help students lower their stress levels sharpen their minds and improve their grades. Mindfulness is an attention training practice which research has shown to improve concentration and enhance wellbeing. .

WoW Seminars (Ways of Wellbeing)
WOW Seminars cover common issues facing students as they progress through university. The emphasis is on education coupled with suggestions and basic skills to manage and enhance the student experience. The seminars cover topics such as: self-esteem, sexual health, managing expectations, mindfulness, career choice, study/life balance, exam stress among others.

Weathering the Storms of Uni Life
Feeling overloaded? Finding university stressful? Struggling to stay on top of things?
In three weekly 90 minute sessions learn how to recognise and deal with stress and low mood before they get on top of you, so you can achieve your goals.
Students who have completed this workshop frequently go on to participate in Keeping on an Even Keel as well where the skills are developed further.
