Connect with Careers (live, online career seminars)


The Connect with Careers programme is a series of free online seminars that is designed to help you to enhance your employability and career readiness. The programme is provided through Adobe Connect software by your Career and Employability Service. Covering a range of career-related topics from CV development through interview preparation to using LinkedIn, you can participate in these workshops via laptop, iPad or smartphone.

Each seminar will be a thirty minute online session, comprised of a twenty minute presentation followed by ten minutes for questions.  You can ask questions using a text-based chat box and questions will be answered in the ten minute question period at the end of the presentation. 

Participation is open to all Massey students, both internal and distance.

Note: Seminar times are NZ time!

To participate

  • Select the 'events' tab on Massey CareerHub and check out the 'Connect with Careers' seminar dates and times
  • Book your place on each seminar that interests you
  • Click on this link about 5 or so minutes beforehand to check that everything is working (if not then run this pre-flight check before logging in
  • Run the sound check for Adobe Connect once you’ve logged in
  • Please do not enter the seminar room more than ten minutes before the seminar is due to start.

You have the option of entering the seminars as a guest rather than by logging in with your student details. However, should you do so we ask that you use your real name (first and last name), in order that we can have an accurate record of students participating.
