Coming up on campus

We have a wide range of career-related events planned for this year.  Check them out by using the 'view all events' tab on Massey CareerHub. Some of these events include:

Manawatu campus:

  • Interview Techniques Seminar – Thursday 31st May from 1.00 pm – 2.00 pm in SSLB3

Attending any career expo or employer presentation event gives you a great opportunity to make an impression on potential employers.  To make a good one, you'll need to prepare in advice.  Access the resources available through this link to explore how to do so:

  • Making the most of attending career expos and events.

What's new?

We have recently employed two Massey HR students who will be working with us on the Manawatu campus as Volunteer CV Reviewers - great experience for work in the HR profession.  If you are a Manawatu campus or a distance student who would like your CV or cover letter reviewed those colleagues will be offering this service.  Should you have any queries on this service please contact us.

Volunteer for career success

Volunteering provides a great opportunity to make a difference and to give back to the community. It also offers you valuable experiences through which to develop the skills employers seek and to stand out from the crowd when applying for jobs.

  • How to book an appointment with a career adviser on the Manawatu campus.
  • How to have your CV or cover letter reviewed by email if you are a Manawatu campus; Wellington campus or distance student.

Are you a distance (extramural) student?

If you are, and you are visiting one of Massey's campuses, help is available from the career adviser based there.  Simply contact the adviser concerned as it would be best to arrange in advance a date and time to meet them.
