Career and Employment Service - career expos run by us

Introduction

Primarily - but not exclusively - it is the Manawatu (Palmerston North) campus that hosts the University’s career expos and fairs. Typically, these events fall into two categories - namely
  • Main Expos - The major expos take place annually in May. The first is a general expo through which Business/Humanities/Social Science and IT opportunities are profiled. The second is aimed at organisations targeting Applied Science/Science/Engineering & Technology students.
  • Sector-specific Expos - In addition, we run smaller sector-specific expos from time to time - for example, accountancy and finance; resource & environmental planning and food technology.

The expos are an invaluable profile-raising opportunity for your organisation. They attract a range of public and private sector organisations and are used to profile job opportunities to final-year students as well as vacation, part-time and voluntary work vacancies and career planning information to all other years.

We work with students on ways in which they can obtain the maximum benefit from participating in our career expos.
For further information on our expos, or to book to attend, please contact a member of Massey's Career and Employment Service.
You may also want to look at our publication career expos - maximising the benefits of attending for your organisation.
