Career and Employment Service - career events
Introduction
Each of the Massey campuses offers a range of career-related events. These may include expos; individual employer presentations; panel discussions; skills workshops and seminars and related activities.
These events are publicised on Massey CareerHub and further information on each one can be accessed by selecting the 'view all events' tab there. Some require you to book to attend. Where this is the case, a booking tab is provided in the details of the events concerned.
Attending any of these events gives you a great opportunity to make an impression on potential employers. To make a good one, you'll need to prepare in advice. Access the resources available through this link to explore how to do so:
Staying on Track
In October and November each year a team of Massey Academic Managers, Student Liaison Advisers, and Career Consultants will be visiting centres around New Zealand to host "Staying on track" events. Current and prospective students can drop in to explore their next academic and career steps.
Career consultants will offer career guidance, while the Student Liaison Advisers will be able to assist you to translate this into appropriate academic study, and college representatives will be able to help with the detailed degree structuring.
You can find out more about this initiative here.
