Career and Employment Service for distance students - where are we?
Introduction
Massey’s Career Consultant for distance students is based full-time in the Career and Employment Service Resource Area which can be found on Level 2 of the Registry Building, Turitea campus in the Manawatu. This is open from 8.00 am until 5.00 pm Monday through Friday throughout the year. If you are on campus - say for a contact course - you can drop-in to this area at any time to access a wide range of career-related items from books; DVDs and videos through to take-away leaflets.

In addition, we travel to other cities in New Zealand on a regular basis. All extramural students in those cities receive an email in advance of these visits and are asked to book a time for a face-to-face consultation. Bookings are limited and have to be offered on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis.
On an annual basis, we participate in a series of ‘Staying on Track’ course and career advice drop-in events. You can find more information on these here.
